Apple has announced Its 2024 flagship with 4 different iPhones the basic iPhone 16 models and pro models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 plus, iPhone 16 pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max as its most exceptional class flagship yet. 

Mostly every year apple rolling out its iPhones with new unique added features thus; Touch ID introduced at iPhone 5s series haptic engine rolled out at iPhone 7, Face ID introduced at iPhone ten anniversary (iPhone X event) with new entire design, dynamic island at iPhone 14, action button and type new type C changer introduced at iPhone 15 series, this is not limited to above unique feature but other impressive design and big improvement in performance coming to iPhones as well. 

This year apple introduced Apple Intelligence 

The advent of AI Apple Intelligence, enhances Siri’s language comprehension more useful, allowing it to grasp context better and follow along even if you make mistakes or you may interrupt yourself. Apple Intelligence introduces a range of new functionalities including, call recording for the Phone app, advanced Writing Tools, improved photo and video editing functionalities, create emojis, notification summaries and more...

Initially, these features will be available in the U.S. in an update package in October this year, and for more countries will come in December, and broader international and multilingual support arriving in 2025.

 

Battery Capacity

The battery capacity of iPhone 16 lineup is unspecified yet according to apple you can watch up to 33 hours in video play back in iPhone 16 pro Max and up to 27 hours in iPhone 16 Pro, in basic iPhone 16 you can watch 22 hours video playback in iPhone 16 and 27 hours video playback in iPhone 16 plus that shows 10% improvement than its previous iPhone 15s model,  it is mentionable that the iPhone 16 Pro Max has the best battery life in latest iPhone lineup, if your biggest issue is battery is to last long select iPhone 16 Pro Max.

 

New camera control button 

All four newly announced iPhone lineup have new Camera Control button by a click open camera and take a photo or record video, with a light press on you can see different camera modes and you can slide your finger left or right on the button to set change modes, swipe on it to zoom in and out and perform other functions as well. 

 

Apple A18 Chip with AI based capabilities 

iPhone introduced its latest chip new AI based, A18 chip, according to the Apple it's 30% faster with new 3nm process, than the A16 Bionic chip that introduced in the iPhone 15 models iPhone 16 models are equipped with Apple's latest-generation Ceramic Shield, which is 50% tougher than iPhone 15 models.

Colors 

Every year apple brings new colors for iPhone lineup fans, Apple somehow tries to push its fans to upgrade their phone by introducing new color beside design changes, camera, battery, improvements The iPhone 16 pro models come with new unique and iconic colors thus; Desert Titanium Natural Titanium White Titanium Black Titanium and the basic iPhone 16 comes with Ultramarine, Teal, Pink, White and also Black.

 

Camera 

The basic iPhone 16 have 2 rear cameras in a vertical design and the pro models comes in 3 shaped cameras both basic and Pro Models have 48MP main camera

The Pro model’s camera comes with 5x Telephoto camera and basic ones comes with 2x Telephoto camera, for taking more clear photos and videos from distances. 

Basic iPhone 16 and Pro models introduced with dual rear camera that has a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 2X zoom and a 12MP ultra- wide-angle lens, that take photos and videos even better in blurry and low light conditions, it is the first time that Basic iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus get new feature over its predecessors the macro mode photography experience. 

 

Size and design:

The big changes in size comes in iPhone 16 since iPhone 12 lineup the iPhone 16 Pro devices increase in screen size to 6.3 inches for Pro model and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max, instead of 6.1 in Pro iPhone models and 6.7 in Pro Max models in previews lineup since iPhone 12 series. 

The basic model of iPhone 16 remained same as its predecessor to 6.1 inch  in iPhone 16 and 6.7 inch iPhone 16 Plus.
